
We will visit the most important points of the city: the Historical Center, composed by the Plaza San Martín, the Cabildo (town hall) and the Cathedral; the City Hall building; the Justice Palace; Italia Square; the stream La Cañada; and the Intendencia Square.
Afterwards, we will pass through the Theater “Libertador General San Martín” and enter the student neighborhood of Nueva Córdoba where we will visit the Church of the Capuchinos and the Paseo Cultural del Buen Pastor. We will visit the Jesuit Block of Cordoba, declared “World Heritage Site”, and where the Church of the Company of Jesus, the Domestic Chapel, the former rector of the National University of Cordoba stand out -where a museum of the history of the University currently operates and a valuable library with historical books and some incunabula- and the traditional “Colegio Monserrat”, originally founded by the Jesuits in the 17th century.
We will continue our trip to Sarmiento Park and the University Campus (Ciudad Universitaria), to later go to the sculpture of the Hombre Urbano (Urban Man), and go along the riverside of the Suquía River.
On are were we pass by the sculpture of the “Mujer Urbana” (Urban Woman), going through the Av. Rafael Nuñez we will pass through the residential and commercial neighborhood of “Cerro de las Rosas” and we will go to the “Parque Autóctono” viewpoint to have a general view of the city. Finally, we return to the hotel venue of the congress.
